About Me
Born and raised in Miami, Florida, and proud of her Costa Rican and Jamaican heritage, Ashanti M. Palmer has always embodied a deep commitment to service and community impact. With a passion for helping others during life’s most sensitive, pivotal, and transformative moments, Ashanti has dedicated her career to public service and advocacy.
She is a graduate of the University of Florida, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Business Management. During her undergraduate years, Ashanti founded the Make a Princess Foundation, an organization that funds the full prom experience for a deserving high school senior each year, while also providing resources for college preparation and community engagement.
Following her undergraduate studies, Ashanti attended St. Thomas University School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctorate. Soon after, she was admitted to The Florida Bar and began
her journey as a licensed attorney. Today,
Ashanti continues to stand as a powerful example of leadership, resilience, and dedication,
committed to uplifting others and making
a meaningful difference in every
community she serves. Ashanti ’s
entrepreneurial spirit and
commitment to service have driven
her to pursue a diverse range of
impactful endeavors.
Ashanti co-founded 3 Oz. Hospitality, a mobile event servicing company offering event coordination, mixology, and custom event rentals. In 2019, she proudly became a member of the illustrious Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, through the Broward County Alumnae Chapter.
Shortly thereafter, Ashanti launched Palm’s Legal, PLLC, a boutique law firm with a strong focus on Probate, Estate Planning, and Criminal Defense. Her legal practice is complemented by her role as a Florida Licensed Realtor, where she helps sellers, buyers, and investors achieve their real estate goals with confidence and care. Expanding her public service, Ashanti was recently appointed as Special Master for the City of Miami Gardens.
Beyond her professional roles, Ashanti founded Lawyers in Full Bloom, an initiative that provides accessible legal services, educational resources, networking opportunities, and meaningful platforms for community engagement. Passionate about empowering others, she actively participates in speaking engagements and panel discussions, sharing her knowledge to inspire and educate.
